The VITO AG, manufacturer of the VITO product line, was awarded with the latest sustainability award ‘Gruenes Band’.
The "Gruenes Band" is an award, recognizing companies standing out with their innovations benefiting the environment and making restaurants more sustainable.
"We are honored to receive this special award. We take great pride in the sustainability the VITO oil filter systems offers" CEO, Mr. Andreas Schmidt points out. The jury’s decision to award VITO with that prize was based on several points. Compared to other systems VITO is capable to filter out fine micro particle without the need of chemicals.
Not only having the plus of no chemicals but using only 100% bio-degradable particle filters aligned with the message of the "Gruenes Band". The significant oil savings, increased food quality and less labor costs are not only benefitting the user but environment too. Reduced oil consumption leads to less unnecessary waste and CO2 reduction due to less oil deliveries, waste pickups and recycling.
"For more than 15 years VITO ensures the quality of frying oil. Easy, fast and safe with the future in mind - This is what we stand for" closed Mr. Schmidt his speech, accepting this award.
