This year, we’re celebrating a very special milestone:
25 years of VITO AG – a quarter century of innovation, quality, and a strong commitment to a more sustainable future in the foodservice and food production industries.
What began in 2000 with the idea for a revolutionary frying oil filter has, through passion and perseverance, grown into an international success story. Today, we are proud to count over 50,000 customers in more than 150 countries as part of the VITO network – and the number keeps growing.
From Idea to Global Brand
Our journey started with the development and patent filing of the first VITO frying oil filter. In 2001, SYS Systemfiltration GmbH was founded by Andreas Schmidt. Early on, we established ourselves as pioneers in frying oil filtration – and our motto, “Excellence in oil filtration,” was a promise from the very beginning.
Through innovation, ongoing research, and continuous product development, our brand has evolved steadily. Today, we are present around the globe, with subsidiaries in the USA, Italy, and the United Arab Emirates, while remaining firmly rooted in our headquarters in Tuttlingen. Since 2014, we’ve been operating as VITO AG – a clear move toward growth and the future.
Today: Technology Leader with a Mission
In 2025, we proudly stand as a leading supplier of filtration solutions for frying oil. Over 50 dedicated employees work every day to advance VITO – with expertise, a spirit of innovation, and the goal of creating real value for our customers.
All our filters are manufactured exclusively in Germany – meeting the highest standards of quality and with a strong focus on sustainability. VITO systems don’t just reduce oil consumption and operating costs; they actively contribute to waste reduction and CO₂ savings. As an independent, family-owned company, we take responsibility – for our employees, our customers, and our environment.
