New COO at VITO USA subsidiary, VITO Fryfilter - Two new faces at VITO Middle East

Sascha Geib, former Director at VITO Middle East, was named as Chief Operating Officer of VITO Fryfilter, USA. He is taking back his old position after serving as Director in VITO Middle East for the last four years. As Chief Operating Officer, Sascha is now managing operations in the USA from December 2022. His responsibilities include building VITO Fryfilter‘s strategy, continuously optimizing processes, as well as managing and developing the USA team. VITO USA subsidiary (VITO Fryfilter) has moved from Illinois to Orlando to be closer to significant business events.

For the last four years, Mr. Geib has been responsible for all the operations at the Dubai subsidiary, a global business hub for VITO AG (the headquarters in Germany). He was the key person who took a huge part in starting the operations in 2019 and he has been a part of anything from sales to trade shows at VITO Middle East. During a challenging time like the global pandemic, he was able to well handle the operations in Dubai with the help of headquaters in Germany. After achieving continuously one goal after the other, Mr Geib is now moving to the USA to continue his awesome journey with the company This year he completes 12 years with VITO AG.

Meanwhile, VITO Middle East hires two new talents from two different countries. Riffaz Aman from Sri Lanka joins with the company as eCommerce/online Marketing Manager and John Acojido from Philippines joins in Sales and Administration. Diversity is a tradition and a core strength at VITO.

Riffaz Aman holds a master‘s degree in Computing from Wrexham Glyndŵr University - UK, having more than ten years of experience in eCommerce and seven years of experience with Europe web technology companies. He is taking the responsibility to expand the online marketing strategies of VITO AG across the Middle East. John Acojido studied Information & Technology and has six years of working experience. He is handling and increasing the sales while administrating in the Dubai office. Mr Acojido also takes care of customer inquiries and assists them with their needs.

VITO Middle East was officially started as a subsidiary in 2019 in Dubai, even though the company has been present in UAE since 2010. Since then, VITO Middle East is serving excellence in frying oil filtration systems across the Middle East. With more than 21 years of experience in the production and sales of filtration systems, VITO filters became a standard in professional kitchens and bakeries. Founded in 2001 by Andreas Schmidt under the brand of SYS Systemfiltration GmbH, has now grown to a company with 50 employees, subsidiaries in Hürth (Germany), Chicago (USA) and Santa Lucia Di Piave (Italy), and was changed in 2014 to VITO AG, a German corporation. Today VITO is known in 150 countries and over 50,000 (and counting) customers confirm that VITO is on the right track.
