Every year the HOST Milano show takes place in the heart of Milan. The hospitality
trade show offers everything a successful restaurant business owner needs, from raw materials to
equipment. This year HOST registered more than 150 000 visitors and 2700 exhibitors. Also VITO AG from
Tuttlingen used the occasion to present their new product innovation VITO VL and immediately convinced
the visitors as well as the jury.
With a new trade show booth, the VITO team and their partners from Italy started the trade show season
well, after a longer break. The international team at the booth set everything ready for a successful visit to
the trade show – with lots of motivation and many different languages that were spoken at the booth.
And indeed, HOST was a successful start into the trade show season. The halls were well attended and
the proportion of international guests was enormous. French and Eastern Europeans were particularly well
represented, while Italians accounted for about a third of the contacts.
“With the new VITO VL, we were not only able to meet the high demands of our target group, we even exceeded
them. The surprise was a success,” reports Alexander Schauf, General Director of Sales, Germany,
following the launch of the new VITO at ANUGA in Cologne last month. “The new VITOconnect feature,
which makes it possible to seamlessly document and analyze the use of the VITO frying oil filter, has also
hit the mark. This is shown by the very high number of new customers and partners”, Mr. Schauf concludes
his summary. And this is exactly the impression you got at HOST in Italy. “The new VITO was a real visitor
magnet! Especially because we won the SmartLabel Award, a particularly large number of guests wanted
to find out more about our new machine,’’ confirms Key Account Manager Sina Maier.
The SmartLabel Award regularly honors the most innovative product exhibited at HOST. The jury consists
of master chefs and renowned representatives from various fields of science and design. “We were very
happy that our product was selected this year! It’s a good sign at the end of the year and makes us look
forward to next year with motivation!’’ said Ms. Maier.
